Have recently started a second business, and since I am in my final 4 years of towards Postal Retirement, I am sort of thinking of going more towards a part-time position with the service. I have never heard of this before. In any event, I think going to 30 hours would be perfect for me. I would home by every morning and have the rest of the day to devote to my business prospects. Am I crazy going from a full-time regular position to a full-time NTFT position that is almost around the corner from my home and offering the most perfect hours for my needs? Well now I went from 5 days a week to 3 days a week. Would it be bad for me to ask to try to become NTFT? I work 7 hours a day — give or take — from day to day. Street time runs 6 hours if run right. Just need some help.
Function 4 customer service operations in the stations is next.
